The Society for Advancement of Education’s Mae Boyar High School Boys and Girls Basketball Teams concluded a successful trip to the United States at a lively dinner with Boyar alumni in New York on December 10, 2019.
The teams had traveled to the U.S. to participate in the 32nd Annual Weiner Basketball Tournament hosted by Beth Tfiloh Congregation and Community School in Baltimore.
Students from six Jewish schools from Canada, the New York area and Israel participated in the unique competition, which also included many opportunities for the students from the different schools to spend time together.
